When we started Cushion Source, our original focus was on outdoor cushions, but we quickly realized that these same cushions could be used indoors as well. We started offering foam filling, which is denser but doesn't compact as easily as our outdoor filling does. As the years have rolled on, we never cease to be amazed by people who have created innovative indoor spaces and finished it off with a custom cushion (and maybe a coordinating throw pillow or two).
Something you might notice about our offerings is that it seems very similar. For instance, we're often asked what the difference is between a bench cushion and a window seat cushion and the answer is nothing. So why offer them separately? Our most common indoor application is a bench cushion stuck in a window seat. We simply create categories to help you find new and creative ways to use our cushions. Remember, we specialize in custom cushions that you design, so if you can't find inspiration on our site please feel free to contact us and our friendly customer service can help you find a cushion to meet your needs. Think outside the box and transform your indoor spaces!
Other common uses for indoor cushions:
We have the largest selection of furniture grade fabrics to choose from. Not only do we offer our fade resistant outdoor fabrics (like Sunbrella and Outdura), but we offer an even wider selection of indoor grade fabrics, like Robert Allen. We also have an excellent fabric selection tool, which helps you select fabrics that coordinate with each other. Coordinate a separate welting color for your cushion or select a fabric for some throw pillows, to accent your look.
Our dining or kitchen chair pads are custom made in a variety of sizes to fit any chair. We use foam or polyester fiber fill in our custom cushions. We also offer the option of adding fabric ties to your chair pads.
All sofa cushions are custom made in the USA using your choice of fabric or fabric you send us, what we refer to as COM, Customer's Own Material. We use a foam core for maximum comfort and longevity. They come with outer zippers for ease of cleaning and removal of the cushion filler.
Rocker cushions can come in a variety of styles and shapes. Most rocking chair cushions we produce are custom made for an old family rocking chair as well as brand new teak rocking chairs. Our rocking chair cushions come with fabric ties to secure the cushion to the rocker frame.
Cushion Source can create any indoor cushions you need. Need a uniquely shaped cushion for an odd piece of furniture? No problem! Cushion Source can create any size and shape using your template. We can even make your cushions and pillows using your own fabric. Remember,
