If your bench's back is not rectangular, has notches or is curved, it's important to order a custom-shaped back bench cushion to ensure the proper fit. Our experienced seamstresses are specialists in creating unique-shaped cushions from a template, and you will surely be pleased with the comfort and style a bench back cushion with just the right fit will give to your indoor or outdoor seating area. First, place your order using the closest approximate dimensions possible; then, simply make a template using our how-to guide. When we receive your paper template in the mail, our professional workroom will craft your cushion to your exact specifications. If you choose to add welting, keep in mind that measurements do not include thickness of welting.

Double Welting
Cushion will have double welting (cording/piping) along the seams. All welting is cut on the bias, giving it an angled appearance. Welting Cut on the Bias

Cushion will not have any welting (cording/piping) along the seams.
Cushion Width
Measure the width of the cushion at the widest point as the left to right measurement when standing in front of the furniture where the cushion will be placed. We accept whole, half, and quarter-inch (.25 or .75) increments only. (Cushions more than 52" wide may show one or more visible seams in the cushion fabric when choosing a vertically directional fabric.) A zipper will be placed along the width of the cushion.
Cushion Height
Measure the height of the cushion as the bottom to top measurement when standing in front of the furniture where the cushion will be placed. We accept whole and half-inch increments only.

CumuPlush fill is a special layered blend of dry conjugate fiber and densified polyfiber designed to not retain water and resist mildew. This filling is recommended for outdoor applications and may also be used indoors. More Info

Medium Foam (Indoor)
Foam fill is recommended for indoor or protected outdoor applications since water may be retained in the foam cushion for longer periods of time.

Reticulated Foam (Indoor/Outdoor)
Reticulated foam is a porous, low-density foam. Lightweight and mildew resistant, reticulated foam is an excellent choice for outdoor settings.
