My husband bought this set of redwood couches before we got married. I didn't like the size, the look and especially the cushion. They are expensive so I can't just get rid of them. Finally, I decided to try a makeover with them. I ordered only one cushion to try it out on the three seat couch. Then I added a few pillows. Wow, what a surprise. It makes the unused couch a nice seating couch.
This is our mudroom. It is the first thing I see when I come home after a long day at work. When I walk in, it is inviting, comforting and cozy. I never thought I would say the mudroom is my favorite room in the house, but now it is.

Robert Allen Heathertex Bk Charcoal on the bench seat and chair cushions to avoid distraction from the granite. For a splash of color, I used Robert Allen Landsmeer Currant on the pillows and place mats. Everything is durable, yet comfortable and eye appealing.
