Custom Papasan Cushions

Papasan chairs weren't introduced into the United States until the 1950s, however, the design has been around for centuries. These bowl-shaped chairs were originally made of rattan, not bamboo, like most people believe. Because they come in so many different styles, it was not always easy to replace a cushion — until now.

We offer several standard papasan cushion sizes, or you can send us a template for any unique size you may need. Our papasan cushions feature standard dart tacks and are stuffed with loose poly fill to a target thickness of five inches for a softer cushion. You will immediately feel the plump comfort a papasan cushion. It's a great chair for dorms, bedrooms and family rooms!
