Our standard swing cushion features a boxed edge that creates crisp corners and edges on the finished cushion. The addition of welting will accentuate this feature. Our collection of hundreds of high-quality fabrics allows you to design your swing cushion to fit both your need and your style. Choose tie placement locations and indoor or outdoor fill. Your finished product will be within ½" of your provided dimensions. Measurements do not include thickness of welting.

Cushion Width

Measure the width of the cushion at the widest point as the left to right measurement when standing in front of the furniture where the cushion will be placed. We accept whole and half-inch increments only. (Cushions more than 52" wide may show one or more visible seams in the cushion fabric when choosing a vertically directional fabric.) A zipper will be placed along the width of the cushion.

Cushion Depth

Measure the depth of the cushion at the deepest point as the front to back measurement when standing in front of the furniture where the cushion will be placed. We accept whole and half-inch increments only.

Thickness is a matter of personal taste, but there are a few things to consider:
- Our most popular thickness is 3 inches.
- As a general rule, the thicker the cushion, the longer the cushion will provide comfortable support.
- Some fill types are not available for all thicknesses.

Box Edge

Cushion will have a seam around the top and bottom edges.

Knife Edge

Cushion will have a single seam around the edges.

Hidden Zipper (Bottom Placement)

The zipper will be located on the lower seam.

Vertical

Directional fabrics will run from front to back (top to bottom)

Double Welting

Cushion will have double welting (cording/piping) along the seams. All welting is cut on the bias, giving it an angled appearance. Welting Cut on the Bias

Cushion will not have any welting (cording/piping) along the seams.

Single Welting

Cushion will have single welting (cording/piping) along the seam. All welting is cut on the bias, giving it an angled appearance. Welting Cut on the Bias

Hidden Zipper (Bottom Placement)

The zipper will be located on the lower seam.

CumuPlush (Indoor/Outdoor)

CumuPlush fill is a special layered blend of dry conjugate fiber and densified polyfiber designed to not retain water and resist mildew. This filling is recommended for outdoor applications and may also be used indoors. More Info
*Thickness measurements are taken seam to seam. The loft on each side of your cushion could be up to 1" greater than your specified thickness, as the insert's thickness is slightly larger, making sure you get that taut, filled effect.

Medium Foam (Indoor)

Foam fill is recommended for indoor or protected outdoor applications since water may be retained in the foam cushion for longer periods of time.
*Thickness measurements are taken seam to seam. The loft on each side of your cushion could be up to 1" greater than your specified thickness, as the insert's thickness is slightly larger, making sure you get that taut, filled effect.

Reticulated Foam (Indoor/Outdoor)

Reticulated foam is a porous, low-density foam. Lightweight and mildew resistant, reticulated foam is an excellent choice for outdoor settings.

Rounded Back

The front 2 corners are squared, and the back 2 corners are rounded. All rounded corners have a radius of 4 inches. If you require a different radius, a template will be required. More Info
