New Fabrics Release

In the first of December, our Cushion Source Interior Designer, Miriam Leuthold, and Product Development Director, Melinda Merijanian, attended ITMA Fabric Market. This event is the largest decorative fabric showcase in the western hemisphere. As a result of the market, Miriam and Melinda have uncovered a beautiful collection of new and fresh fabrics.

The benefit … you will be seeing fabulous fabrics in the New Year. Watch for a release of new fabrics coming after the first of the year!

Accessorizing your home can be an overwhelming and daunting task. Don't write if off your list because you think it is going to be too difficult. Simply step back and take a look at your space through a designers eyes using three easy steps:

• 1. De-clutter - One of the simplest ways to start accessorizing is to remove any clutter and uninspired "stuff." As you are de-cluttering your space, set aside any items that you are truly love and the pieces that speak to your heart. If there are items that you like but they don't quite fit, hold on to them for the moment because you might be able to use them in Step 3.
• 2. Re-use - Step back from your space and enjoy the moment … a clean slate. Next, begin pulling back into your living space the items you held out in step 1. Begin placing your treasured items in places where they will remain the focus.
• 3. Fill-in - After you have placed all your special pieces in their perfect spots, you may find empty areas that need a little something. You can fill those areas in two ways … refurbish some of your old accessories, from Step 1, by using them in a new way or visit your local flea markets to discover vintage treasures that will provide your living space with that perfect unexpected accessory.
