Blogger cozies up with a new window seat cushion

The great thing about a window seat is there is only a piece of glass that separates you from the beauty of the outside world. So on those cold fall and wintery days, you can still sit with a good book and hot chocolate while enjoying a bit of sun and scenery. Myra, a blogger from the Casabella Project, needed a window seat cushion for her breakfast room makeover. Cushion Source gladly stepped up to help.

Myra wanted to update her breakfast room to match her vintage 1950s-style home. She settled on classic colors as her palette; red, aqua and yellow go really well together, don’t you think? Her decision to use Robert Allen Cats Cradle Sunshine fabric was a great choice.

She found these fun vintage-inspired pillows from a retailer and already had these aqua Pyrex bowls for added accessories. So cute! In finish the look, she gave the room a fresh look with new paint on the walls and refinished chairs.

Window seat cushion helps transformation of breakfast room

With fresh paint, a handmade two-piece window seat and a custom window seat cushion from Cushion Source, Myra’s breakfast area was given a taste of a vintage 1950s cottage with a beautiful color palette. The overall look is pretty darn amazing. I’m really in love with the red chairs. It’s crazy how a coat of paint can make such a big impact in a room.
